FOX Sports West, Angels announce 2014 TV broadcast schedule

Angels Live pre- and postgame shows surround all game telecasts on FOX Sports West, with Angels Weekly airing every Friday following game coverage.

Los Angeles – FOX Sports West, entering their 22nd season as the telecast home of the Los Angeles Angels, on Tuesday announced it will produce and televise approximately 150 Angels games during the 2014 season. Coverage begins Opening Day, Monday, March 31, with a special one-hour Angels Live pregame show at 6:00 p.m. PT, when the Angels host the Seattle Mariners at Angel Stadium.

Returning for all games on FOX Sports West, Victor Rojas enters his fifth season as the Angels play-by-play announcer, alongside Mark Gubicza, who will provide expert commentary throughout the season.

Keys to success for Angels in 2014

Angels Live pre-game and post-game shows return, surrounding every home and road telecast, this season on FOX Sports West to provide in-depth analysis, interviews and more. The Angels Live set position will again reside under Angel Stadium’s iconic red hats for all home telecasts, affording fans the opportunity to be closer to on-site discussions.

In addition to approximately 150 games on FOX Sports West, the Angels will be televised nationally on FOX Sports on Saturday, May 24 at 4:00 p.m. PT against the Kansas City Royals; Saturday, June 14 at 4:00 p.m. PT versus the Atlanta Braves; and Saturday, July 12 at 4:00 p.m. PT versus the Texas Rangers. FOX Sports 1 will also elevate three Angels games to a national audience on Saturday, April 19, at 10:00 a.m. PT at the Detroit Tigers; April 26 at 10:00 a.m. PT against the New York Yankees; and on Saturday, June 21 at 7:00PM PT versus the Texas Rangers.

Going beyond game coverage, Angels Weekly returns with exclusive, fresh and behind-the-scenes content surrounding the Angels organization. The half-hour program will air every Friday throughout the regular season. Additionally, several half-hour episodes of FOX Sports West’s popular In My Own Words and Before the Bigs series are planned this season, including In My Own Words: Jered Weaver and In My Own Words: David Freese. Debut dates and times will be announced at a later date.
