It took more than three months but Kyle Lohse finally put another tally in the win column Monday night in Pittsburgh.

After giving up seven runs in three innings against the Cubs in his first start since coming off the disabled list last Sunday, Lohse looked much more like the pitcher the Cardinals signed to a 4-year, $41 million extension in the fall of 2008.

Lohse pitched 5 1/3 strong innings, allowing six hits and striking out four to earn his second win of the season and his first since May 17 in the Cardinals 10-2 win over the Pirates.
