Key player: UCLA QB Brett Hundley
Hundley was sacked five times last week against Virginia. The offensive line let him down. Until the line can figure things out, Hundey will need to have his head on a swivel. But he will have to improve his pocket awareness, too. If there ever were a game to work out the kinks, this would be it.

Intangible: Steven Manfro's replacement
As we learned Wednesday, the Bruins' backfield will be without Manfo for the remainder of the season. We don't yet know how the offensive gameplan will change, if at all. Offensive coordinator Noel Mezzone said earlier in the week that Nate Starks would see action against Memphis, so perhaps he's the guy who could get a depth-chart bump.

Across the Field: Memphis QB Paxton Lynch
Lynch stands at 6-7, 230 pounds, but he's hardly statue-like in the pocket. The Tigers' quarterback isn't afraid to turn and run. In last week's win over Austin Peay, Lynch completed 20 of 27 passes for 242 yards and two touchdowns. He had two rushing touchdowns, too. So the Bruins' defense will have to keep contain and not allow Lynch to keep plays alive with his feet.

Prediction: UCLA 48, Memphis 14
The Bruins will use this week to get the train back on the track. Jim Mora's team dropped four spots in the rankings last week despite having won on the road against Virginia. Expect the Bruins to climb one or two spots after this week ends.
