Colin Cowherd talks Cleveland Cavaliers and LeBron James. Hear his thoughts on the current roster makeup and more after last night's loss to the Wizards.

- The Wizards beat LeBron and the Cavs. It wouldn't be a big deal, except I emptied my 401k on the Cavs minus 5 and 1/2 last night, because Jason Whitlock loved this team, and I don't even know what I was doing. I thought Whitlock may be on to something. And instead, I now have to work until I'm 88 years old.

My take on this new Cavs team has always been, they had a flat tire, and then they brought in some spare tires, Jordan Clarkson, George Hill, Larry Nance Jr, Rodney Hood, spare tires. Spare tires, it should be noted, make you very happy when you get a flat. But you [INAUDIBLE]-- they look weird. They're small. And they're not really the kind, the radials, the kind that-- but I mean, God, you had a flat. So a spare tire feels fantastic

But eventually, I mean you can't drive on a spare tire forever. Last night, the Cavs not only lost to Washington. Let's dig a little deeper. Cleveland Cavalier players not named LeBron went 0 for 10 in the last 9 and 1/2 minutes of the game. LeBron James scored the last 14 points for the Cavs. Spare tires, yes. They're better than a flat tire. They are still spare tires.

You really think LeBron James, still the best basketball player in the world, is going to be satisfied ending his career with George Hill and Larry Nance Jr? Getting swept by the Warriors again? Listen man, the NBA is pretty easy to figure out. There's about 25 A-players. LeBron, Steph, KD, Kyrie, Harden, Westbrook, Lillard, Jimmy Butler, Karl Anthony Towns, Giannis, A-players, A-talent. Then there's about double that, 50 guys, in the B-player pool. Andre Drummond, Kemba Walker, CJ McCollum, LaMarcus Aldridge, Kevin Love, Draymond Green, Goran Dragic. So 25 A's, about double that B's, and then the rest of the guys are in the C pool. Low C, high C, they're in the C pool.

LeBron two times has left seeking better players. Even when he came back to Cleveland, it was that coming home narrative that's real sappy. But the reason he came home is they had an A-player there, Kyrie Irving, and an asset to get a B+ player, Kevin Love. So that would mean an A, LeBron, an A, Kyrie, and a B+, Kevin Love, and his buddy Tristan Thompson, who LeBron probably thought could be a B- player and really isn't. But the Cavs roster right now is one A+ player, LeBron, and one B+ guy, Kevin Love, who is currently hurt, and a bunch of spare tires.

LeBron has shown you he's not going to end his career with that. In fact, I could argue, as he ages, he's going to need more talent around him, which I think why the Golden State Warrior thing, although it makes everybody dry heave, you know. Everybody wants to you know, oh God, LeBron to Golden State. I think it's probably something 5% chance he thinks of. Now LeBron after the loss last night, he sounded pleased.

OK, LeBron, last 9 and 1/2 minutes of the game, everybody on that roster not named LeBron went 0 and 10. LeBron, last 14 points, you scored all of them. Spare tires are great off a flat tire. They're spare tires. We've all had one. Can't drive on them long. They wear down quickly. They look weird. They're small, they're dangerous. Jordan Clarkson, fifth best Laker. Rodney Hood, third best Utah Jazz. George Hill, a traveling salesman. He's not ending his career with those guys. And I am out my entire 401k. I am going to be doing local radio on a country music station in Clovis, New Mexico at 88 years old because of last night's game. I am bitter.
