- All right, I just want to say this about LeBron James. He's great, we know that. Last night, LeBron James had to play-- because of injuries-- point guard. 34 points, 2 turnovers, 13 assists. Let me see, he shot 4 for 6 on threes, 55% from the floor, he was the best point guard in the NBA last night.
This is where LeBron is Magic. Michael's the best player ever, right, I get it, that's what you want to hear. But, Magic and LeBron are Swiss army knives. This is the best way to put it, is that LeBron's Amazon. He can go into any territory-- point guard, shooting guard, small forward, power forward, center-- that's what Magic could do. Magic gave you whatever you needed.
Michael could score and defend, but Magic and LeBron are the Swiss army knife. You get the tweezers, that weird saw, the scissors, the nail file, the bottle opener, the corkscrew. Like LeBron last night, this is why he is amazing. And this is the quality Magic had, but people tend to forget. You can ask him to play all five positions. Magic, once, in the finals, I think as a rookie, against the Sixers, played center against Caldwell Jones. And I think he had 42 points and 17 rebounds. I could be wrong, but I think he had 42 points.
Like, Michael was great, but Michael was a guard. What LeBron did last night, this is what amazon.com does. Nothing against D-Rose in his prime, Kyrie Irving-- they're Starbucks, they do coffee. But when they venture out of coffee, like Starbucks did-- to movies, ice cream-- no, bro, stay in your lane. That's not what you do. Amazon's the opposite. Amazon goes into your business and owns it within two years.
By the way, go to amazon.com, put in Starbucks. You know who sells the second-most Starbucks in the world? Amazon.com.
That's the gift of LeBron. Can you play point guard? Sure, and was the best point guard in the league last night.
