Chris Mannix does not believe the Golden State Warriors' recent struggles will have any bearing on the way the season will end. Mannix: "I would be astonished if this team didn't go into the playoffs winners of 10 out of 11."

HOST: Steve Kerr admits the first half of the season wasn't their best basketball, but said they should be primed to really take off in the second half. Chris, is there any reason to doubt the Warriors can't take it into another gear?

- None whatsoever. And you know, look, we can complain about the bench a little bit. Andre Iguodala's 3-point shooting has been horrific this season. They're going to rely on young players, McCaw and maybe Jordan Bell, to contribute this year. But this is all about the starting five, and the starting five is going to play 35, 40 minutes every single night. And the starting five is still the best starting 5 in all of basketball, and it's not even close.

I understand the Currys, the Thompsons, the Greens kind of going through the motions in a season like this, even Durant, having already won his championship, going through the motions in the first half of the season. I said this to you guys the other day, and I stand by it. I would be astonished if this team didn't go into the playoffs winners of 10 out of 11, 14 out of 15, 19 out of 20, something like that. Because now that we're into the final third of the season, they're going to step on the gas, and they're going to start rolling people.
