Cris Carter discusses why believes it's not outrageous for LeBron James to leave the Cleveland Cavaliers and join Steph Curry and Kevin Durant on the Golden State Warriors.

- I'm not surprised by it, because the Warriors maybe could get rid of two of their stars now. What if they decided to package Draymond Green and Klay and decide to send them somewhere else? And so LeBron, KD and Steph are playing together. So I don't think it's outrageous.

I think LeBron, when he is at this stage of his career, he should exhaust every resource. He should gather every little bit of information, because for me, I believe this will be his last contract. He has the championships. He has the MVPs. He has the points. He has the games, he has assists, has the rebounds.

His thing is how do I win more championships? So wherever he would decide to go, I would be open to that. I don't think as Golden State exists now that they would be able to pull it off. But I'm not going to get upset because LeBron is potentially thinking about. As an athlete, when you are at this stage of your career, he needs to do what is best for him.

If that's going to go Golden State, if that's going to San Antonio, if that's going to Houston, because I believe San Antonio and Houston are actually potential destinations. So why wouldn't you talk to the Warriors? Why wouldn't you try to find out maybe how they look at things? Maybe what they think about you. So to me, you might be able to gain more intel.

So I wouldn't negate talking to anyone, because I believe LeBron's going to make a great decision. I do believe it's almost a foregone conclusion though, that he will not be in Cleveland.
