Dana White chats with Megan Olivi after the weigh-ins for UFC 223 in Brooklyn, NY.

- Dana, a lot to cover here. We don't have a lot of time, so let's start with the positives here. We have a main event. Al Iaquinta will be facing Khabib Nurmagomedov. Talk to me about this main event and how it came together.

- Yeah, so you know, when this thing went down again, and Holloway didn't make the weight, Iaquinta and Felder were screaming for the fight, I mean, demanding the fight. And I love guys like that. I love guys that are that fired up to have an opportunity.

So Al Iaquinta was the closest to weight. He was 15-- 155.2 with his underwear on. They actually weighed his underwear, and his underwear was 0.2, so the commission allowed this fight to happen.

MEGAN OLIVI: Are you happy that you were able to find this last minute replacement in a guy that is so pumped to have the opportunity?

- I was excited to have Holloway on a week's notice. So yeah, to get Al Iaquinta and for him to be this fired up and excited for the opportunity-- and obviously, if you look at, you know, what he's done in his last five fights, looks good, great wrestling, and knock out power in both hands. So yes, I'm happy.

MEGAN OLIVI: Khabib really decided to take no matter who the opponent was. He stepped up to the plate, which a lot of times we do see a person in his position turn down opponents. What does that say about him?

DANA WHITE: So what I heard is after his weight cut, he was sleeping. And his team kept waking him up to say, it's going-- he said, stop waking me up. I don't care who I'm fighting. I'm in, no matter who it is. I don't care who I'm fighting. So I absolutely love and respect that too. So thank you to both those guys.

MEGAN OLIVI: Yeah, absolutely. And before I let you go, Conor McGregor, he did post bail. I mean, there's been so much media coverage of everything that happened. What are your thoughts now, and have you spoken to him since?

- We have not, no. We spoke yesterday before he turned himself in and we haven't spoke since. I think he's a little busy right now.

- Yeah, yeah, I'm sure. Well, Boss, thank you so much for your time. We're looking forward to this card tomorrow. We'll speak then.

- Thank you.

- Thanks so much.
