It’s a pretty well-known fact that UFC president Dana White is huge New England Patriots fan, but rarely do we get to see the Boston native put his fanhood on full display the way he did Thursday night.

Before the Patriots were set to kick off against the Houston Texans last night, White sent a passionate message in to NFL Network and laid out his predictions how he thinks this season will play out for his hometown squad.

“I love every Sunday, Monday and Thursday,” White said. “I start talking smash with my friends, I start talking smack with other fans, I throw on my gear, I sit down in my chair and get ready to watch the greatest football team in the history of football: The New England Patriots. In case you don’t know, let me tell you about it: 23 playoff appearances, 18 division championship, eight conference championships and four Super Bowls. Okay? I’m two weeks in. In two more weeks, the greatest quarterback in the history of the world comes back and guess what? It’s gonna be 24 playoff appearances, 19 division championships, nine conference championships and five Super Bowls.”

If you take White’s word for it, it looks like the only thing the Patriots will be missing this season are a couple turtle doves and a partridge in a pear tree.

But in all seriousness, the Patriots are a supremely talented team that many sportsbooks have as the favorite to win it all this season. Despite missing Tom Brady for the first quarter of the season, they’ve started 3-0 and just drubbed the Texans 27-0 with a third-string QB.

White is confident his Pats will at least make the playoffs, so that likely means, UFC fans will get a Fight Night scheduled for mid-January for the third year in a row.
