Paige VanZant has likely found her next opponent as the 21-year old phenom is expected to meet Alex Chambers later this year with the current target date at UFC 191 in Las Vegas.

Sources close to the contest confirmed the bout to FOX Sports on Wednesday following an initial report from MMASucka.com.

VanZant had already asked to land on the UFC 191 card for her next appearance after a dominant win over Felice Herrig in her last bout in April.

The 21-year-old Nevada native is now 2-0 in the UFC while jumping into the top 10 following her last victory, and now VanZant will try for three in a row as she looks to return on September 5 in Las Vegas.

Chambers will look for her second consecutive win as she faces VanZant at UFC 191. The Australian fighter recently picked up her first UFC victory when she defeated Kailin Curran by armbar in May at an event in her native country.

UFC officials have not announced the bout as of yet, but VanZant vs. Chambers is currently targeted for UFC 191, although final confirmation for the fight will not happen until bout agreements are issued and signed.

As witnessed by visa issues that forced changes to this weekend’s UFC Fight Night card in Florida or the ongoing injuries making changes to UFC 189, the fight could always be shifted to another card on another date if necessary.
