Nate Diaz blasts UFC president Dana White over recent comments

Published Mar. 21, 2017 2:49 p.m. ET

Nate Diaz is not happy with UFC president Dana White.

The former title contender took to Twitter on Monday to express his displeasure with recent comments White made about Diaz turning down fights.

“We keep offering Nate fights and he keeps turning them down. Nick, too,” White told TMZ.com

That didn't sit too well with Diaz, who fired back at the UFC president while denying that he was even offered multiple fights outside of a rumored matchup with former champion Eddie Alvarez just recently.

"This [expletive] can't stop making [expletive] up about me and I haven't been offered any fights except the one laughed at," Diaz stated.

Diaz has been out of action since last August when he lost a razor-close majority decision to Conor McGregor at UFC 202.

Since that time, Diaz hasn't expressed much interest in facing anyone other than McGregor in a trilogy fight, but clearly he denies that the UFC has offered much outside of the lone bout just recently.

A third fight with McGregor seems to be the most logical fight for Diaz, but there's no telling when or if he'll get that matchup.

McGregor is currently embroiled in negotiations for a boxing match with Floyd Mayweather and he's expected to defend his lightweight title whenever he returns to the UFC.

As for Diaz, judging by his comments on Monday it doesn't appear that he'll be fighting anybody in the near future.
