Memorial Day in Las Vegas is going to have a little Korean flair.
The newly signed Doo Ho Choi will make his Octagon debut at UFC 173 and countrymen Kyung Ho Kang has also been booked to compete May 24, the UFC announced Thursday night.
Choi (11-1), a top Asian prospect, meets Sam Sicilia in a featherweight bout. Choi, 22, has won nine straight, mostly in the DEEP organization. Sicilia (12-4) has lost three of his last four and is coming off a loss last month to Cole Miller. The 28-year-old is an Ultimate Fighter Live alum.

Kang (12-7, 1 NC) gets another former TUF contestant — the Ultimate Fighter 18 winner Chris Holdsworth — in a bantamweight battle. Kang, 26, has just one loss in his last six fights and is coming off a submission win over Shunichi Shimizu last month. Holdsworth (5-0) defeated Davey Grant to win TUF 18 in December. The 26-year-old is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt and training partner of Urijah Faber.
