Cindy Dandois inks deal with the UFC, faces Alexis Davis in Nashville

The UFC has added another top-ranked women's fighter to the roster as Cindy Dandois has inked a deal to join the promotion and she will make her debut on April 22 in Nashville against former title contender Alexis Davis.

Dandois will fight at bantamweight despite having prior experience as a featherweight, which seemed like a possible landing spot for her while holding a win over current Invicta interim 145-pound champ Megan Anderson.

Despite those credentials, Dandois will join the UFC competing at 135-pounds as she looks to build on her recent three-fight win streak, including wins over Anderson and former UFC fighter Jessamyn Duke.

Davis will look to give Dandois a rude welcome when they meet in April as the former title contender attempts to get back on track following a submission loss to Sara McMann this past December.

Davis has put together a 4-2 record overall in the UFC, including wins over Sarah Kaufman, Jessica Eye and Liz Carmouche.

Dandois vs. Davis is the latest addition to the card in Nashville that will be headlined by a featherweight tilt between Cub Swanson and Artem Lobov.
