Hacker posts on popular MMA forum as Dana White

Someone hacked Dana White’s UG account and it was the worst troll job ever

Wait. That was the best you could come up with?

Someone hacked into UFC president Dana White’s account on the UG, the popular online MMA forum, and hosted an “AMA” (“Ask Me Anything”) on the message board. Fake Dana had everyone fooled, including this writer, but the most interesting thing he or she wrote was “Fedor sucks.”

Sounds like someone needs a lesson in trolling.

“They contacted me yesterday and Said someone hacked my acc,” White tweeted Sunday. “It wasn’t me, I haven’t even looked at the UG in months.”

Here’s a helpful tip to wannabe hackers everywhere: If you’re going to pose as someone, at least say something people will give a crap about – there’s nothing better than a well-circulated Internet hoax.

If you’ve successfully infiltrated Dana White’s account, how do you not make an announcement that the UFC bought Bellator and Bjorn Rebney will now be acting as official UFC shoe-shine boy or that Brock Lesnar has re-signed a contract that explicitly states he cannot be hit in the face? Mix in a few f-bombs and you’ve officially won the Internet.

Obviously, you don’t want to say anything completely outlandish if you’re Fake Dana. You would never want to praise Randy Couture or Tito Ortiz. Nor would you say any other MMA organization is in competition with the UFC.

This hacker broke the first rule of internet trolldom – he or she was boring. Fedor sucks and calling a poster “an egg” were the highlights of the entire conversation. Just disappointing.

The real life Dana White would have been much more entertaining. Talk about putting the “hack” in hacker.
