When UFC middleweight Michael Bisping isn’t in the Octagon knocking heads, he’s brushing up on his acting skills — and the British-born actor landed a recurring role on the final season of the Cinemax series "Strike Back."

The series is based around a group called Section 20, a secretive branch of the British Defense Intelligence Service. The group goes on counter-terrorism missions all over the world.

Season four — the final season of the show — was expected to shoot and air in late 2014, but an injury to star Sullivan Stapleton forced the production to stop and get pushed back to a later date.

Bisping joins the cast in a recurring role for the final season. Shooting took place in Europe with additional scenes for the show shot in Thailand as well. Bisping actually shot scenes for the show last year.

"It’s a small part, but it was a lot of fun. A couple of episodes and it was awesome," Bisping told FOX Sports.

"I had no idea how big a show, it’s a huge production. It was a lot of fun, and I can’t wait to see it."

Bisping joins the show for the final season along with martial-arts star Michelle Yeoh and "Game of Thrones" star Joseph Gatt.

The show will debut on Cinemax later this year, although an exact premiere date has not been released by the cable network.
