If state athletic commissions actually do away with testosterone usage exemptions, we pray they make an exception for Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva.
Silva’s manager Alex Davis told Ariel Helwani on “The MMA Hour” this week that before Silva started upping his testosterone level he was “actually lactating.” Sweet mother of mercy, that’s disgusting.
“This is one of the guys that really have authentic technical reasons to be on TRT,” Davis said. “He has acromegaly. His pituitary gland overproduces GH (growth hormone) and that unbalances all his other hormones.”

“Bigfoot” was busted for high levels of testosterone after his epically violent five-round draw with Mark Hunt last month. He’s been suspended for nine months and was forced to forfeit his win and Fight of the Night bonuses.
The milk’s gone bad!
Davis said the whole thing was a miscommunication. Silva absolutely needs TRT for health reasons and he just took injections at the wrong time.
“He was taking (once) a month then started taking (once) a week,” Davis said. “He took one a week before the fight and one at the week of the fight, which wasn’t supposed to. It got mixed up.”
We’re just glad the man took something. Imagine if he started lactating right there in the Octagon against Hunt? Both men were already covered in blood. Imagine the addition of milk to the equation. And you thought you were sick to your stomach after the Anderson Silva broken leg. You would have never enjoyed cream in your coffee ever again. December 2013 could have been the most disgusting month in UFC history and Roy Nelson didn’t even fight.
“When I started managing him, he was actually lactating,” Davis said. “He has extremely low testosterone, so he has a real reason to be on TRT.”
So basically what he’s saying is that “Bigfoot” had a legitimate reason to cry over spilled milk, right?
