Paige VanZant is already a top 10 ranked UFC strawweight, but in her spare time she'd like the chance to become a superhero.
Well, VanZant would at least like to play one on television or in the movies after telling FOX Sports this week that she would jump at the chance to work with Marvel in the future.
The studio responsible for films such as "The Avengers" and "Captain America: Civil War" not to mention TV series such as "Jessica Jones" and "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." is ever expanding and it seems like VanZant would be a natural fit to take on a role one day.
But what characters would be perfect for VanZant to play? Take a look at the top five Marvel characters we'd like to see Paige VanZant portray on screen.

Spider-Gwen
This story revolves around an alternate universe where Gwen Stacy was bitten by the radioactive spider instead of Peter Parker and developed similar powers before being dubbed 'Spider-Woman'. VanZant already looks a lot like Gwen Stacy so this seems like a natural fit and while 'Spider-Gwen' is a newer Marvel title, it could be a great way to introduce the character into TV or movies.

Crystal from 'The Inhumans'
Crystal is a member of the Inhuman royal family, which will soon be a full-fledged television show from Marvel on ABC. Sister to Medusa, one of the leaders of the Inhumans, Crystal possesses enhanced physical capabilities similar to Captain America while also being able to control the four basic elements of earth, air, fire and water. With the Inhumans' show already picked up to series, this might be a role that would take away a lot of VanZant's time from the cage, but anything is possible.

Squirrel Girl
'The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl' has become one of the most popular titles at Marvel these days despite the completely nutty — pun intended — lead character. Yes, Squirrel Girl is a hero who not only talks to squirrels but also possesses powers similar to them. It's a bizarre concept but one that's been embraced in the Marvel Universe over the past couple of years. There's even been talk about a Squirrel Girl series or movie so this seems like another possibility for VanZant.

Kate Bishop/Hawkeye
A self-trained martial artist, Kate Bishop actually helped save the day when the Young Avengers failed during a mission and she was quickly recruited to join the team where she took on the mantle of Hawkeye. Skilled with a sword and a bow, Kate is a very proficient warrior while having no actual super powers outside of her own incredible athleticism. VanZant is already one of the best athletes in the world so if she can learn to shoot a bow — or at least pretend to know what she's doing — this could be a great addition to "The Avengers" family.

Black Cat
Felicia Hardy aka Black Cat is a reformed burglar and one time girlfriend to Peter Parker. Hardy has walked the edge between good and bad for years in the Marvel Universe but she's always had a soft spot for Spider-Man. Considering how Marvel has revamped Spider-Man with 20-year-old Tom Holland now playing the part, VanZant, 22, could easily portray a younger Felicia Hardy.
