PARIS (AP) French Open champion Garbine Muguruza has jumped two spots to a career-high No. 2 in the WTA rankings, while runner-up Serena Williams remained at No. 1, where she's been for more than three years.

Williams' sister Venus returned to the top 10 on Monday, going to No. 9 from No. 11 after getting to the fourth round at Roland Garros.

Novak Djokovic, who won his fourth consecutive major title by beating Andy Murray in the French Open final, added to his lead atop the ATP rankings. Djokovic has more ranking points than No. 2 Murray and No. 3 Roger Federer combined.

Rafael Nadal rose to No. 4, swapping places with No. 5 Stan Wawrinka, who won the 2015 French Open and lost to Murray in this year's semifinals.
