Mercedes-Benz replaces Lexus as US Open sponsor
Mercedes-Benz USA has agreed to a four-year marketing partnership with the U.S. Open, replacing Lexus as a sponsor of the Grand Slam tennis tournament.
The deal runs from 2010-13 and includes transportation for more than 250 tennis players during the event.
The agreement calls for Mercedes-Benz signs to be placed on net posts during all televised men’s singles matches.
Lexus was a U.S. Open sponsor from 2005-09.
