Andy Murray has made history by reaching No. 1 in the world tennis rankings this week.

Not only is the 29-year-old the first Briton to achieve this feat, Murray is the only man who is not Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer or Rafael Nadal to reach the top spot in 12 years.

So the other members of the Big Four graciously extended their congratulations to Murray on Twitter:

Well played, gentlemen.
