{"id":2077,"date":"2021-08-11T22:29:06","date_gmt":"2021-08-11T22:29:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.foxsports.com\/supports\/?p=2077"},"modified":"2021-08-13T18:40:11","modified_gmt":"2021-08-13T18:40:11","slug":"fox-sports-supports-field-of-dreams-community-impact","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.foxsports.com\/supports\/fox-sports-supports-field-of-dreams-community-impact\/","title":{"rendered":"FOX Sports Supports Field of Dreams Community Impact"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>FOX Sports is advancing fighting chances for underserved youth and creating opportunities for personal growth through its support of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.miracleleaguedubuque.com\/\"><strong>Miracle League of Dubuque<\/strong><\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greatermilwaukeefoundation.org\/donors\/donor-stories\/hank-aaron\/\"><strong>Hank Aaron Chasing the Dream Fund<\/strong><\/a> in honor of the MLB at Field of Dreams Game presented by GEICO airing Thursday, August 12 (7:00 PM ET on FOX).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Miracle League of Dubuque, which provides children and adults of all abilities the chance to play baseball, hosted this week a dedication of its new baseball facility followed by an Opening Day game between the league\u2019s New York Yankees and the Chicago White Sox teams to celebrate the MLB at Field of Dreams Game taking place just down the road in Dyersville, Iowa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>FOX Sports donated baseball gear customized to the unique needs of the athletes, including large plastic bats, soft baseballs, batting tees, helmets, fielding gloves and more. The custom jerseys feature each player\u2019s name and favorite number, making big-league dreams come true for the athletes. <a href=\"https:\/\/fb.watch\/7mnYaR1wD1\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/fb.watch\/7mnYaR1wD1\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Click here<\/a> for highlights of the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, FOX Sports is donating to the Hank Aaron Chasing the Dream Fund to honor the baseball legend who passed away in January and further his support of underserved youth as part of its Field of Dreams community impact efforts.
