FOX Sports Celebrates 2022 MLB All-Star Game with Heart of Los Angeles

Los Angeles – In honor of the 2022 MLB All-Star Game on FOX, FOX Sports celebrated members of its local nonprofit partner, Heart of Los Angeles (HOLA), who recently completed its inaugural Broadcasting Program by providing them with an exclusive, behind the scenes look inside the world of sports broadcasting.

FOX Sports partners with HOLA to create and advance fighting chances for underserved youth in its Los Angeles headquarters community to succeed in the sports media industry and unlock their full professional potential.

The group of high school students met with FOX MLB Studio Analysts Frank Thomas and Dontrelle Willis, FOX MLB Studio Host Kevin Burkhardt, and members of the production team to learn about careers in sports media and broadcast production during a tour of the FOX Sports studios and an exclusive all-access viewing of MLB ON FS1.

HOLA gives underserved kids an equal chance to succeed through a comprehensive array of after-school academic, arts, athletics, and wellness programs and FOX Sports is proud to support its efforts to educate its students about the world of broadcasting through the new program, which wrapped its first iteration this spring.

As part of its support of the program and commitment to its long-term success, FOX Sports donated essential camera and lighting equipment to HOLA which the students will use as part of the program’s curriculum.
