On Monday night (September 5, 2016), Raw stopped in Kansas City, Missouri where tensions were high after Triple H’s surprise turn on Seth Rollins during last week’s championship match. Mick (who initially felt Stephanie was colluding with Triple H) and Stephanie had trouble figuring out what exactly would happen with Rollins after he exploded on Steph during Kevin Owens’ championship celebration. Ultimately, Foley won out and booked a match between Rollins and Owens at the upcoming Clash of Champions PPV. The women’s division started to heat up with Bayley getting a surprise win over Charlotte, Sasha proclaiming her rematch for the Women’s title, and Alicia Fox going off on Nia Jax.
Plus, the third match between Cesaro and Sheamus, Bo Dallas actually shows up, and an “Old Day” segment that made basically every wrestling fan in the world cringe with embarrassment (for full coverage on the entire show, check out our review).
