WWE Clash of Champions 2016: Live Results
Follow along with the live results from the WWE Clash of Champions pay-per-view.
On Sunday, WWE will host their latest pay-per-view in Clash of Champions. This is a Raw-only show, as SmackDown had their exclusive live special on September 11.
Seth Rollins will challenge for the WWE Universal Championship, which Kevin Owens holds. This will be KO’s first title defense since Triple H helped him win the belt on the August 29 episode of Raw.
Despite being mentioned nearly every week, we still haven’t seen The Game since that night. It’s an interesting call since the moment had been a grand one. Could he reappear to cost Rollins a chance at the Universal Title again?
Cesaro and Sheamus will conclude their Best-of-Seven series at Clash of Champions. The Celtic Warrior went up 3-0 to begin this, but The Swiss Superman roared back with three consecutive wins of his own. Can he close it out?
The Raw Tag Team Championship will be defended as well. New Day’s reign as champions has lasted over one year, but opponents Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows will look to dethrone them at Clash. This feud has been marred by an “Old Day” segment, which tried to depict New Day as being close to having their run “retired”. It failed, flopped, didn’t humor anyone, and should be forgotten. So, can these teams pull that off?
With this in mind, here’s a look at the Clash of Champions match card.
