The 10 best moments from NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn

NXT entered it's own New Era Saturday night in Brooklyn as Shinsuke Nakamura's reign as NXT Champion began with a win in a brutal match against Samoa Joe. Here are 10 of the best moments from the show, which you can watch on the WWE Network.

Austin Aries won his match against No Way Jose to open the show, but after Jose tapped out to the Last Chancery, Aries attacked him again after the bell - leading Hideo Itami to come to the ring and knock out Aries. Itami only recently returned from injury, but the development sets him up for big matches with Aries in the future.

Ember Moon made her debut Saturday night against Billie Kay in a solid match and ended with the best finishing move of the night. With Billie Kay dazed, Ember Moon went to the top rope, then dove off and twisted in the air to deliver what was essentially a flying Stone Cold Stunner. It was awesome.

NXT newcomer Bobby Roode might just have the most infectious entrance music in all of WWE, and he descended from a cloud to the stage prior to his match against Andrade "Cien" Almas. It was truly glorious.

Almas may not have won the match, but he looked great in a losing effort. He debuted at TakeOver: The End and hasn't had much time to develop his character or build a fanbase yet, but he had great chemistry with Roode.

The two matches that followed The Revival vs. Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano were great, but the two tag teams stole the show in Brooklyn.

The Revival retained their titles with a slightly surprising result in a 19-minute bout full of near-falls, a three-count that was reversed due to a rope break, and timely referee distractions.

A second consecutive victory over Bayley means there probably isn't going to be a third match between the two, so before leaving the ring, Asuka pulled Bayley up off the mat and gave the former Women's Champion a hug. These two will hopefully meet again on an even bigger stage.

Bayley also gave Charlotte a hug separately, which was met with boos.

Is Bayley's loss to Asuka going to be her final NXT match? Eva Marie's suspension means there's conveniently a spot open at SummerSlam for another female wrestler, and the reaction Bayley received at Battleground is proof enough that she's ready to make the jump.

WWE got violinist Lee England Jr. to play an extended version of Shinsuke Nakamura's entrance theme, and it was tremendous.
