Roman Reigns handles 6-man tag 'Smackdown' main event like a champ

May 5, 2016

Roman Reigns reignited his "WWE Raw" duel Thursday night on "Smackdown," winning the six-man tag main event by pinning Karl Anderson.

Reigns and the Usos survived a battle with AJ Styles and Anderson and Gallows, with Reigns coming back from the brink of defeat. The match was set up Monday when the six of them tangled in the main event of "Raw", one night after Reigns beat Styles at WWE Payback for the world heavyweight title.

Styles & Co. promised to finish what they started Thursday night, but Reigns reasserted himself with the help of his family.

Other winners Thursday night:

Rusev finished Zack Ryder by putting him in an Accolade, but then got attacked by Kalisto while celebrating in the ring with wife Lana.

Natalya got a bit of "payback" as she and Becky Lynch beat Emma and Charlotte by submission, after Natalya got robbed in the "Chicago Screwjob" on Sunday.

The Vaudevillians beat the Social Outcasts, but then get mopped up by Big Cass.

The Miz and Kevin Owens beat on Sami Zayn before Cesaro cleared the ring.
