He's won titles in Ring of Honor and TNA, among countless others around the world. And now, after two previous failed attempts, Samoa Joe can call himself WWE's NXT champion as well.

In a surprising match that came with an even more shocking finish at a house show in Lowell, Mass., Joe defeated reigning champion Finn Balor with a Muscle Buster square in the middle of the ring. And once the three-count was in the books, fans absolutely lost their minds:

After the match, stars across the WWE universe offered their congratulations to Joe and their well wishes to Balor, who previously held the title for a record 292 days.

Joe's been on the NXT roster for just over 11 months, with his first shot at the NXT Championship coming back in December in London. When he made his NXT debut, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn were still on the NXT roster, with the former having just attacked the latter:

Now, of course, Owens and Zayn are on the main WWE roster, with both taking part on opposite sides of a tag match on Thursday's SmackDown.

Could they be joined by Balor? The obvious question at this point is whether The Demon could make his main roster debut sooner than later. Say, maybe at next week's Raw?

Very interesting, Kevin Owens. Very interesting, indeed.
