Dolph Ziggler's political analysis is to compare Donald Trump to Happy Gilmore

If Donald Trump sometimes seems like a WWE character, well, that's not entirely a coincidence.

Trump made forays into wrestling long before politics, and WWE star Dolph Ziggler has witnessed both.

"He has been to a couple different WrestleManias with us and I have actually seen him on 'Raw' when he kind of took over as our boss for the day and thought he was a pretty good boss," Ziggler told FOX Business Network's Kennedy this week.

If Trump is a boss people can relate to, then Ziggler is the guy to talk about him, with political analysis the average WWE fan can relate to.

Ziggler credited Trump's "different tactics" and compared him to, of all people, Happy Gilmore.

"He is definitely employing some different tactics than most others, and to a point where I think it's kind of like in 'Happy Gilmore' where Shooter McGavin is wondering why no one cares about him, he's in the woods running up cracking and missing, and I think that's what a lot of other candidates try to do, and if it's just not their thing, we see through it," Ziggler said.

Yes! Where have the Adam Sandler film analogies been all campaign? Next, Ziggler will explain Benghazi by referencing "You Don't Mess with the Zohan."

And suddenly politics doesn't seem so hard to understand.
