USC holds off Colorado for 66-59 win

BOULDER, Colo. (AP) Ariya Crook scored 18 points and Cassie Harberts added 14 as USC edged Colorado 66-59 Sunday.

USC (18-12, 11-7 Pac-12) led 56-48 with 4 1/2 minutes remaining but Colorado capped an 11-2 run with a three-point play by Brittany Wilson to take a 59-58 lead with 1:21 left.

Crook then made a pair of free throws to give USC a one-point lead with 56 seconds left and Colorado (16-13, 6-12) missed a layup on each of its next two possessions as the Trojans finished their regular season with two consecutive victories.

In a game of runs, Colorado trailed 34-22 at halftime but opened the second half on a 14-2 run to tie the game. USC responded with an 11-2 run to take a 47-38 lead with 11:11 left.

Brittany Wilson had 15 points for Colorado, which missed all nine of its 3-point attempts and hit just 9 of 21 free throws.
