Key reserve guard Lorin Dixon of top-ranked Connecticut is sitting out the Huskies' game at Pacific after spraining her left foot in Monday's practice and is doubtful for Thursday night's showdown at No. 9 Stanford.

Dixon hurt her foot in practice Monday at the Spanos Center when she came down on a teammate's foot. The school says she could undergo an X-ray on Wednesday at Stanford if the foot doesn't show improvement.

Dixon, a senior, is averaging 3.3 points and 2.5 rebounds in 20.1 minutes per game off the bench.

The game Thursday is a rematch of last season's NCAA championship game won by UConn, which hasn't lost since a defeat to Stanford in the 2008 NCAA semifinals.
