Brett Benzio had 13 points and 20 rebounds, Danielle Nunn added 19 points and 11 rebounds, and Tulane upset No. 22 Houston 70-60 Friday in the Conference USA tournament semifinals.
Fourth-seeded Tulane (22-9) held off a second-half charge from top-seeded Houston (26-50) by making its free throws in the closing minutes.
Porsche Landry had 18 points and six assists for Houston (27-4), and Lesslee Mason added 16 points and 10 rebounds.
Tulane held Houston's Courtney Taylor to just four points and nine rebounds in the contest. She was coming off a 22-point, 10-rebound game in a quarterfinal victory over UTEP on Thursday.

Tiffany Aidoo scored 13 points for Tulane, which will face second-seeded UCF in the conference finals Saturday.
