BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) Brittany Brown scored 17 points on 7 of 11 shooting, and No. 7 Florida State routed UAB 93-47 on Saturday.
The Seminoles (10-1) broke to 11-0 lead and went up 20-2 after six minutes.
In addition to Brown, the Seminoles were backed by Ivey Slaughter and Shakayla Thomas with 15 points each and Chatrice White with 10.

The Seminoles had 60 points in the first half. They dominated the boards, outrebounding UAB 49-20 for the game. Six players with had at least five boards.
UAB (4-4) shot just 27 percent in the first half and no player finished in double-digit scoring. Rachael Childress had nine points.
