No. 16 Georgetown 67, South Florida 38
Sugar Rodgers scored 25 points and No. 16 Georgetown cruised to its most lopsided win in Big East play this season with a 67-38 victory over South Florida on Tuesday night.
The Hoyas (20-5, 8-3 Big East) led 43-25 at halftime and were never challenged en route to winning their sixth straight game.
The Bulls (10-14, 1-9), who have lost three straight and 10 of their past 11 games, were led by nine points from Andrea Smith.
The Hoyas defense held the Bulls to their lowest point total on the season and South Florida missed all 18 of its 3-point attempts.
The only player in double figures, Rodgers made her first five shots from the field, scored 17 points in the first half and made 7 of 11 3-pointers overall.
The Hoyas made 12 of 23 of their shots from beyond the arc.
