''We came out aggressive from the tip, I thought our defense and rebounding set the tone,'' Frese said.

James Madison was able to cut the deficit to nine on two free throws by Destiny Jones with 14:18 left, but that's as close as it could get.

Precious Hall scored 29 points and Toia Giggetts added 18 for James Madison (4-1). The Dukes had no one else score more than five.

Lauren Okafor, who led the nation in offensive rebounds (7.25 per game) and was second in overall rebounds at 16.3, was held to just three total boards.
