Miller's 20 help No. 14 Princeton women beat Brown 79-67

PRINCETON, N.J. (AP) Michelle Miller had 20 points off the bench and No. 14 Princeton moved within a win of the all-time Ivy League record for best starts ever with a 79-67 win over Brown on Saturday night.

Blake Dietrick scored 15 points and Alex Wheatley had 12 for the Tigers (27-0, 11-0), who are the only remaining undefeated Division I women's team. They are one win shy of matching the 1970-71 Penn men's team 28-0 start.

Jordin Alexander had 25 points for the Bears (10-16, 4-8), who scored the most points against the Tigers this season. They lost the first meeting 86-58. Brown made 13 of 16 free throws and nine turnovers to offset 38.2 shooting that including a 2 of 17 effort behind the arc.

Princeton shot 62 percent in the second to finish at 54.2 percent, which offset a 10 of 20 performance from the foul line and 18 turnovers.
