Florida State upsets No. 13 Duke 74-58 with big closing run

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) Adut Bulgak had 18 points and a career-high 18 rebounds and Florida State closed the game with a 16-3 run to upset No. 13 Duke 74-58 on Sunday.

Leticia Romero came off the bench to add 16 points for the Seminoles (15-2, 2-1 ACC) and Megan Conwright had 13. Bulgak had five points in the closing run and Romero and Conwright hit back-to-back 3-pointers after two Kai James free throws to put FSU up 66-55 with 2:31 to play.

Rebecca Greenwell led the Blue Devils (11-5, 2-1) with 17 points, including four 3-pointers that has already lifted to her eighth on the Duke freshman list with 31. Azura Stevens added 17 points.

Duke had won 36-straight ACC games in January since a 2009 loss at FSU.

The Blue Devils, which are leading the nation with a plus-16.5 rebounding margin, were beaten 38-28 on the boards.
