Sydney Carter scored 19 points and Tyra White added 18 to lead No. 8 Texas A&M to an 81-68 victory over No. 21 Oklahoma, sending the Aggies to the Big 12 tournament title game against top-seeded Baylor.

The Aggies (27-4) were up by 16 points in the final four minutes, but the Sooners went on a 9-0 run to trail 75-68. Carter's basket with 58.5 seconds left helped put the game away.

Whitney Hand led Oklahoma (21-11) with 21 points.

The Aggies led 36-29 at halftime, primarily because of defensive pressure that created seven steals and a 17-2 edge in points off turnovers.

The Sooners committed 13 turnovers in the first half and had a tough time dealing with Texas A&M's one-two scoring punch of Danielle Adams and White.

Adams, who finished with 16 points, had 13 in the first half. The Aggies had 12 offensive rebounds in the first half, with five from Adams.

Oklahoma came within 43-41 with 16:04 remaining, but a quick 11-0 run gave the Aggies a comfortable lead.

No. 3 Baylor cruised past Kansas State 86-53 to reach the final.
