Dynamic middleweight Uriah Hall will no longer be competing at UFC 198 after his opponent, Anderson Silva, withdrew from the event due to injury, according to the UFC.
The UFC made the announcement shortly after confirming Silva potentially had to undergo surgery on his gall bladder just a few days out from their main event bout at the historic card in Curitiba, Brazil.
Update for #UFC198: Hall will not be rebooked for the card. Barberena-Alves kicks off main card. https://t.co/OD3EK5Rntw

Instead, the prelims bout between upstart welterweights Warlley Alves and Bryan Barberena will now move up to the main card and the event will feature 12 fights, total.
Despite Silva's absence, UFC 198 is still an incredible card. You can catch all the action, starting at 6:15 PM ET/3:15 PM PT on UFC Fight Pass before giving way to the FS1 prelims at 8 PM/5 PM. The main card airs at 10 PM/7 PM and is available exclusively on Pay-Per-View.
