UFC Hidalgo is taking place on the Mexican border tonight with a pivotal lightweight bout in the main event.
Dustin Poirier has been on a tear since moving to lightweight, going 4-0 with three stoppages. He currently sits at sixth in Cage Pages’ lightweight rankings. His opponent Michael Johnson is going in the other direction, losing two straight fights, but he still stands at eighth in the division according to Cage Pages.
In the co-main event, Uriah Hall fights Derek Brunson in a bit of a grudge match. Both men find themselves at the bottom of the top-ten in the division, and are looking for a statement win tonight.
