UFC champion Stipe Miocic leads Cavaliers victory parade in Cleveland
UFC heavyweight king Stipe Miocic was the first to snap Cleveland's 52-year championship drought, so it's only right he lead the parade in celebration of his hometown Cavaliers' 2016 NBA title.
Miocic, a diehard Clevelander, joined the Cavs' victory tour Wednesday, with UFC gold in hand and appeared to have a fantastic time.
Miocic won the UFC heavyweight title in May at UFC 198 against Fabricio Werdum to become the city's first champion since the Browns won the NFL championship in 1964. Miocic will make his first title defense at UFC 203 on Sept. 10, in front of the Cleveland faithful at the Quicken Loans Arena, in the UFC's first visit to "The Land."
