Teruto Ishihara slams home first round KO over Horacio Gutierrez

Teruto Ishihara remains one of the most intriguing prospects in the featherweight division, especially after his second straight knockout as he finished off Horacio Gutierrez in the first round on Saturday night.

Training out of Team Alpha Male in Sacramento, Ishihara has all the teammates and tools to make him a very excited addition to the featherweight division, but it's his unique style inside the cage that makes him must-see TV.

This time around, Ishihara actually uncorked his finishing combination while backing up as Gutierrez was on the attack early in the first round while trying to pressure the Japanese stand out.

It backfired horribly after Ishihara blasted Gutierrez with a punch that dropped him to the mat in a hurry.

Ishihara looked for the finish, but Gutierrez survived -- at least momentarily until he started to get back to his feet, where he ate another huge shot that put him back on the ground.

At that point, the referee saw more than enough to stop the fight as Ishihara started celebrating and a dazed and confused Gutierrez struggled to get back to his feet.

Ishihara has stated that he's not interested in titles but instead only wants two things -- women and money. He made that clear again with his post-fight speech.

"Come visit me Salt Lake (expletives)," Ishihara shouted after the win.

With two straight knockout wins, Ishihara will definitely earn another marquee spot when he returns to the Octagon for his next fight.
