Rousey, Holm take center stage in amazing UFC 193 promo video
The UFC puts together promotional videos for every event, and for Ronda Rousey's next fight against Holly Holm in Australia, the promotion really has outdone itself.
The original version first debuted courtesy of Ellen DeGeneres last week, but now the UFC has released the full video in anticipation of Rousey meeting Holm at UFC 193, with the fight expected to break the all-time attendance record for the mixed-martial arts organization.
The video shows a young Rousey and Holm starting out in their respective sports with a slew of critics and naysayers along the way trying to slow them down.
Rousey's 17-year-old sister Julia actually portrays her in the video and her mother, Dr. AnnMaria De Mars, is also there playing herself.
The video features the song "Experience" by Ludovico Einaudi, with Rousey and Holm providing the back story that made this promo possible.
It might just be the best promotional video the UFC has put together in the organization's 20-plus years.
Rousey meets Holm in November in the first UFC card featuring two women's title fights headlining the show, as Joanna Jedrzejczyk also will put her strawweight belt on the line against Valerie Letourneau in the co-main event.
