REPLAY: UFC 180: Werdum vs. Hunt weigh-ins and results

Published Nov. 14, 2014 4:30 p.m. ET

The interim heavyweight title fight for Saturday night is official as Fabricio Werdum and Mark Hunt hit the scale and made weight for the UFC 180 main event in Mexico.

Taking the fight on three weeks notice, Hunt had to cut a considerable amount of weight and ultimately came in right at the heavyweight limit of 265-pounds.  Now he'll have a chance to refuel as he gets ready for battle against Werdum.

While the main event will be the biggest attraction on Saturday, all eyes were on Kelvin Gastelum as he weighed in for his co-main event fight against Jake Ellenberger.  Gastelum has struggled with his weight in previous fights, but hit the mark at 170-pounds as he screamed enthusiastically at the crowd.

Ellenberger also looked solid on the scale before he came nose-to-nose with Gastelum while speaking to his opponent while standing on the stage.  There was no handshake when the two welterweights finally split apart so this should be a very interesting showdown at UFC 180.
