Paige VanZant brings judges to tears with final dance on 'DWTS' (VIDEO)
Paige VanZant's journey to a title on "Dancing with the Stars" is one step closer after the UFC strawweight closed out the competition on Monday with the highest score for the three sets of couples still vying for the championship.
VanZant and partner Mark Ballas scored a 29 out of 30 for their first dance where they did the salsa.
The second performance was based around VanZant's own personal life where she experienced severe bullying as a child and the dance ended up bringing the judges to tears after they were finished.
VanZant held it together for the most part but even Ballas couldn't hold in his emotions and he shed a few tears after the performance was over.
The judges ended up giving VanZant and Ballas a perfect 30 out of 30 for the performance, which put them atop the leader board with a 59 for the two dances in the finale.
The judges scores along with fan voting will determine the winner of "Dancing with the Stars" with the final results revealed on Tuesday night on ABC.
