Nate Diaz vs. Matt Brown set for UFC 189
Former lightweight title challenger Nate Diaz and top welterweight contender Matt Brown will meet in what has to automatically be considerd a good bet for fight of the night this July at UFC 189, in Las Vegas. Per the UFC, Diaz will move up to welterweight once more to fight "The Immortal."
Diaz is coming off a loss to now lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos late last year. The Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and boxing specialist is one of the UFC's toughest, and most exciting fighters.
The same could be said of Brown. The TUF veteran won seven straight fights before losing a title challengers' eliminator fight to Robbie Lawler by close decision.
In his last bout, Brown lost a decision to former welterweight champion Johny Hendricks. Both men will have a chance to shine again in this fight that promises fireworks.
UFC 189 is headlined by Jose Aldo defending his featherweight world title against Conor McGregor. In the co-main event, Robbie Lawler puts his welterweight crown on the line against Rory MacDonald.
