Miesha Tate: Ronda Rousey was best female fighter, deserves title shot in return

For Miesha Tate, life as the champ is good.

Tate got a new contract with the UFC this week plus a fight at UFC 200, and she won't have to face Ronda Rousey, Holly Holm or Cris Cyborg.

Tate's feeling so good, she can even show her hated rival Rousey some love.

Asked if Rousey deserves a title shot when she returns, Tate not only said yes, but also acknowledged Rousey was "the best female fighter on the planet for a long time."

Tate also threw some praise at Cyborg, saying she "absolutely" would fight her at 140 pounds if the UFC offered it to her.

"How cool would it be to get in there with someone of her stature?" Tate said.
