Mayweather dismisses UFC's McGregor as publicity hound

Floyd Mayweather apparently knows a publicity hound when he hears one. And he's heard one in the UFC's Conor McGregor.
Responding to McGregor's assertion that he would "kill him in less than 30 seconds" if the two fought, Mayweather this week told TMZ Sports: "I don't take that dude seriously. He's just trying to get himself some publicity."
And so McGregor did. First for saying what he would do to boxing's biggest star, then again when Mayweather, preparing to fight Manny Pacquiao on May 2 in the most anticipated boxing match in many years, responded to the UFC up-and-comer.
Maybe McGregor can respond to Mayweather and keep his publicity mill grinding.
