'Game of Thrones' star trains at Conor McGregor's gym
On "Game of Thrones", Liam Cunningham's character Ser Davos Seaworth is known much more for his advice to kings rather than his own prowess on the battle field, but it looks like he's practicing just in case.
The 55-year old Irishman got in some work recently at SBG, which is home gym to UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor and his coach John Kavanagh.
Kavanagh posted a video showing Cunningham working on his takedowns after a visit to the Dublin based gym.
Cunningham is the second "Game of Thrones" star to visit the famed gym after Hafpor Bjornsson -- better known for his on screen persona as "The Mountain" Ser Gregor Clegane -- and he stopped by SBG several months ago where he dueled with McGregor as well as fellow Iceland native Gunnar Nelson.

"I've never been much of a fighter. Apologies for what you're about to see," Cunningham's character said in the second episode this past season.
It looks like Cunningham is ready to add a few new skills when he returns to film "Game of Thrones" season seven later this summer ahead of the 2017 debut on HBO.
