FOX Sports 1 UFC Fight Night: Condit vs. Alves viewing and schedule guide
To make sure you don't miss any of the action from Brazil, here's a full viewing and schedule guide for all the events leading up to Carlos Condit vs. Thiago Alves on Saturday night.
Former interim welterweight champion Carlos Condit makes his long-awaited return to the Octagon this weekend as he faces a stiff challenge from fellow knockout artist Thiago Alves in the main event of UFC Fight Night from Brazil.
Condit has been out of action for more than a year mending his knee after completely tearing his ACL during his last fight against Tyron Woodley. The New Mexico native rehabbed his knee, and now he's ready to resume his career while trying to tackle another title shot in the near future.
Alves suffered a similar fate as Condit as injuries robbed him of well over a year of his career as well, but he's gone 2-0 in recent fights, including a knockout victory over Jordan Mein in his last trip to the Octagon.
Also on the card, Brazilian featherweight Charles Oliveira takes on Nik Lentz in a highly-combustible matchup after these two first met back in 2011. The original bout was ruled a no contest after Oliveira cracked Lentz with an illegal knee strike that precipitated the end of the fight.
Now these two will look for some closure as both men try to climb into the top five of the rankings at 145 pounds.
