Dong Hyun Kim out of UFC 202; Neil Magny awaits new opponent
Top 10 ranked welterweight Dong Hyun Kim has been knocked out of next month's UFC 202 card due to injury and his opponent Neil Magny will now wait for a new opponent.
UFC officials confirmed Kim's removal from the card when speaking to FOX Sports on Tuesday following an initial report from MMAJunkie.com.
There's no word on Kim's injury or how long he'll be sidelined, but he's no longer able to compete on the upcoming card taking place on August 20 in Las Vegas.
Magny was searching for another signature win following a dominant TKO victory over Hector Lombard in his last fight, but now the former "Ultimate Fighter" competitor will have to wait for a new opponent instead.
UFC 202 takes place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas with Nate Diaz facing Conor McGregor in the five round main event on the card.
